Skills:(Innate) Illumination:Lux's damaging spells charge the target with energy for 6 seconds. Lux's next attack ignites the energy, dealing 20-190 (depending Lux's level (lvl*10+10)) magic damage to the target. This innate is amazing and deals good damage mid/early game. It's the base of the harrasment or ganks: Spell, auto attack, spell, auto attack... Her ultimate Finales Funkeln can trigger the ignite too.(Q) Light Binding:Lux releases a sphere of light that immobilizes and deals damage to up to two enemy units for 2 seconds, dealing 50% effect and damage to the 2nd unit struck. Best tool to engage the fight and it deals a lot of damage too.(W) Prismatic Barrier:Lux throws her wand to a target location and back, bending the light around herself and any friendly Champions it touches, protecting them from enemy damage for 3 seconds. Useful when in teamfights or when tower diving, I don't use it much early game tho.(E) Lucent Singularity: Fires an anomaly of twisted light to an area, which slows nearby enemies. Zone lasts 5 seconds. Lux can detonate it to damage enemies in the area of effect.Very useful for harrassing in laning phase and before engaging teamfights, the damage is also great and the slow is useful in some situations. It's also a greta scouting tool since it reveals ennemies in area and in brush.(R) Finales Funkeln:After gathering energy, Lux fires a beam of light that deals damage to all targets in the area. It ignites and refreshes Lux's Illumination debuff if it hits enemies already afflicted. This spell is amazing. The cooldown can be as low as 26 seconds, the damage can be around 1,000 endgame. This spell easily take half the life of squishies end game and is the final strike skill. For skill order, I always Max Q and E first. Usually I don't even have a single point in W before level 13 (unless I lane against Zilean to block his bombs). Your ult is always a priority at level 6, 11 ,16.
With the items I use, I have 26 seconds cooldown ultimate at level 16 and damage input when build completed is over 1,000.
"Double rainbow, what does it mean?"Items:
The last item is very situational in my opinion. It can be a void staff, zhonya's hourglass, abyssal scepter depending on your team and their team.
Summoner spells:I usually go with ghost and clarity. Clairity will allow you to stay in your lane for a while and you should have enough for your catalyst when first backing to town. Ghost is simply used to chase or run away from ennemy.
Masteries:
"Shh.. I'm charging my laser"Strategy:Early game, you can harrase pretty soon. At level 2, having a kill is as easy as : Q, Autoattack, E, Autoattack. If your team mate helped, the target should be dead, othwerwise it should have 200 HP left so you rince and repeat.
Once you hit level 6, you can end the combo and kill the ennemy pretty quick. Q, Autoattack, E and R (If target has 200-300 HP left).
Your ult can also be used to take down a running ennemy or a recalling ennemy, if you prefer get clairvoyance as a summoner spell, aim and shoot.
Mid game/end game, the ganking/teamfight phase is started and you are god damn useful, know this. Snare the first ennemy that shows up or the carry and it'll be dead. Always spam your E and always snare when possible. When you seek a low HP ennemy aim your ult. If the tower manage to start pushing a tower, use your ult to kill their minions vice verse if you are pushing. Stay back in teamfights, you have the biggest caster range so don't worry. You shouldn't get focused that much if you take the right place in fights.
The rest is definatly up to you, everybody have their play style and strategies and everything is very situational. Hope you enjoy playing Lux as she is my personnal favorite champion.
