:hello:

This is My guide to Jungleing with Malphite.

This guide is not how you SHOULD play malphite, but how I play malphite.

Runes

3x Greater Quintessence of Fortitude

9x Greater Seal of Resilience

9x Greater Glyph of Warding

9x Greater Mark of Insight

Masteries

0/21/9

Resistance 3/3
Hardiness 3/3
Evasion 4/4
Harden skin 3/3
Nimbleness 1/1
Defencive Mastery 2/2
Veteran's Scars 4/4
Tenacity 1/1

Good hands 3/3
Haste 1/1
Awareness 4/4
Utility Mastery 1/2

Summoner Spells.

Smite and Ghost.

Smite allows you to jungle, and helps farm better.

Ghost helps chase, escape, and get to a team fight faster, if you seem to be out of place.

Items

Start with Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions

When you first recall, Buy Ninja Tabi, and however many Health potions you can

Then you have to go by the enemy team.

If they are mostly casters, Go for Guardian angel, then Banshees
If mostly Attack damage champions, Go for Frozen Heart, then banshees

if you went Frozen heart first, take Guardian angel after banshees, and vice versa.

you will rarely get past this point, but if you do.

Go Sunfire for a heavy AD team.
and Force of Nature for a heavy AP team.

if the game for some reason isn't over, go for thornmail or Randuins.

Jungle Order

Start with Golem, if you are blue, have mid and bottom cover the river, if you are purple, have mid and top cover the river.
Use a health potion, and spam your E focusing the golem.

now move on to the Wolf camp, and use another health potion, if you get under 50% Spamming W and E, they should die rather fast.

Next, head to the wraiths, and spam E and W, with a health potion, if you are under 50%

Now go to Lizard, by now you should be level 3, so he will be relatively easy, your smite should be up, so use that, press W, spam E, and use a hp potion,
Lizard is do-able at level 2, but can leave you dangerously low, or even kill you.

Next head on to the Double Golem camp, and repeat the W-E Spam, with your last health potion if you need it.

Now you should have 550 + gold, both buffs, and be level 4.

Recall, buy your ninja tabi, and go gank a lane with your lizard + Q slowing abilities, at level 4 with lizard, you should be able to auto-attack any champion down, given enough time.

After that, just keep buying health potions when you recall with spare money, and keep jungleing and ganking, around level 7-8 you nolonger need potions.

Skill Order

Main Order, R>E>W>Q

Level 1 - E
Level 2 - W
Level 3 - E
Level 4 - Q
Level 5 - E
Level 6 - R
Level 7 - E
Level 8 - W
Level 9 - E
Level 10 - W
Level 11 - R
Level 12 - W
Level 13 - Q
Level 14 - W
Level 15 - Q
Level 16 - R
Level 17 - Q
Level 18 - Q

Tips For Ganking.
If the target is low, and will get away, use your ult ONLY if you can hit the target with it.
If you're chasing a sivir with her ult on, or master yi with his on, Don't bother, they will run faster then you can ult to them.

When ganking, let your team initiate, unless it's under a tower, or a fight they will most likely lose without you, THEN ult in, once the enemy team is about to spam all they have.
you will have disabled them long enough for your team to get the upperhand

DO NOT EVER USE YOUR ULTIMATE TO KS YOUR TEAM, it is very easy to do, if someone has an easy kill they are finishing off, leave them be, you're the tank, not the carry.

If you are going to initiate with your ultimate, make it count, and let your team start walking towards the enemy first, so they will be in-range when you land.
When you intiate with your ultimate, Press R, then W and spam E, hit the squishiest target you can (most likely to run) with your Q, to keep the carries on him.

Warding = Mres/Lvl, which is the best option for tanks in glyphs imo. Not much use to have flat m res anyways cause you catch up just when you start needing Mres

Seals = Flat, which helps you tons in early jungling

Very good guide for jungling Malphite imo. Malphite doesn't possess much Dragon control so you should keep him warded all the time that you won't give him away for free.

Decent build, I'd just change the masteries to http://leaguecraft.com/masteries/0013400100000002030401000000003140102000000
Which is 9/10/11. You want the Magic pen/AP per level and smite bonus from the first tree, you want the dodge chance and speed boost from the def tree (+armor and MR) and obviously the EXP and monster buff booster from the last tree. I pick Greed over 2 points in Resistance because it basically covers 2 MR/armor after 18 minutes or so.

Oh and when initiationg, pop W before your ult, the armor boost it gives is drastic to your survival, you don't want to ult then get CCed before you can W, had it happen before by bad luck (Fiddle bounced one me I think).

Think it's better to go from cloth armor -> heart of gold and choose between boots.
guides that say to always buy ninja tabi boots is why people get dodge boots against all AP teams.

getting the HoG makes upgrading to Randuins if necessary cheaper.

I agree on the boots, it's situational. Don't get ninja tabis if you're fighting against 5 mages lol.

That's just me, but I personally hate Randuin. It got a great activated ability, but for the cost, I don't think it's warranted. I personally prefer going straight to an Aegis of Legion because it's balanced and helps for team fight tremendously early on.
