Cho'gath, NOM NOM CHOROLLED

Table of contents
1. Intro (with skills and level up order)
2. Masteries
3. Summoner Abilities
4. Runes
5. Items
6. How to faceroll

-1. Intro-
Okay so most of you will know that Cho'gath is an excellent AP/tank hybrid.
He can initiate a fight like no other, aoe stun and aoe silence making it perfect for your team to take out the carries.
And with the little AP you get from this guide you will have no problem dealing great numbers in magic damage.

Q: Rupture - AOE knock-up spell, slows the enemies in it. (1.0 AP scaling)
W: Feral Scream - Cho'gath silences enemies in a cone in front of him dealing magic damage and silencing for 3 seconds (0.7 AP scaling)
E : Vorpal Spikes - Cho'gath's basic attacks also launch spikes at enemies in front of him dealing magic damage. (0.2 AP scaling)
R : Feast : Cho'gath takes a bite out of an enemy dealing TRUE damage OR 1000 damage to an enemy minion/neutral monster. (0.5 AP scaling)

Max Q and W asap taking Feast at level 6 , 11 and 16
Leave E as the last skill to level!

-2. Masteries-

As you may see I like to take the cooldown reduction and magic pen together with 0.60AP per level(maxing at 10.8 AP at lvl 18), this little amount of AP won't seem much but it's better than taking crit chance on a mage/tank hybrid.
In utility I go for reduced time dead for if you should die you're faster back on your feet to go help your team or defend a turret. Also imp ghost because it's handy.
I also get that extra 1 gold and 1 mana regen so you can keep on your lane for a bit longer without having to go back for mana.
Imp movement to catch up with enemies, NOTE: You can switch this for 2/2 Utility Mastery and the extra 1 point into Perseverence.
Next we take cooldown reduction for obvious reasons and summoner ability cooldown.

-3. Summoner Abilities-
Ghost and Ignite.
Swap ghost for flash if you want and also change your masteries to get imp flash instead of imp ghost ofcourse.
Ignite can be traded for exhaust if you are not so good on landing your Q spell so that you may catch up with enemies.

-4. Runes-
NOTE:l I don't got that many runes but they keep me going for the moment.

Marks: MagicPen because they're the most useful for Cho'Gath in my opinion.
Seals: Mana Regen. With this you'll be able to stay in a lane longer to harass an enemy.
Glyphs: Cooldown reduction per level
: I find per level alot better for when you are level 18 you'll have more cooldown reduction than if you go for flat cooldown reduction glyphs. This basically means more spam on lvl 18.
Quints: AP for that little advantage at the start with your Doran's Ring

Now there are some things you can tweak for yourself.
You can change Seals with Health per level OR dodge runes.
Quints can also be changed with flat health.
And if you really want to be a little bit powerful early game take flat cooldown reduction.

-5. Items-

You can swap out Rylai for more situational based items like a Thornmail against a phys dmg team or a Guardian Angel if you get focused alot.

-6. How to faceroll-
You are supposed to initiate any gank or teamfight!
Use your Rupture a little bit behind the carries, most people tend to run back when they hear the Rupture sound, thus they'll walk right in it.(NOTE: this might not work in high ELO matches)
Then use your silence so they can't snare you or Riftwalk away like a little girl, use ignite on the carries and then feast.
By now your team shouldve done alot of damage already.
Also don't use your feast only to get kills with, use it whenever you can IF you have 6 feast stacks.

Now you can have fun owning with Cho'Gath.
I also might update this guide if People seem to like it.

You can swap Rylai for something with health if you're having problems.
