Ezreal, The Prodigal Explorer

History: Ezreal was born with the gift of magic flowing through his veins. Ezreal, however, was also born with a much stronger sense of wanderlust. Put into school to become a skilled techmaturgist, Ezreal quickly became bored with magical studies. By the time the boy genius was eight years old, he had fully mapped out the underground tunnels of Piltover. The quality of his work was so great that the government of Piltover purchased his maps and salaried his services as Piltover's Grandmaster Explorer. This sealed the deal on Ezreal's path in life - he would eschew the arcane arts in favor of archaeology. Since then, countless of Ezreal's adventures have been written about as romanticized stories.
One of Ezreal's latest adventures, however, has brought him face-to-face with his other legacy - his latent magical power. While exploring the pyramids of Shurima Desert, Ezreal uncovered an Amulet of incredible power. Aside from the sheer size of the amulet (it was made for a being easily twice Ezreal's size), it allows the wielder to control and shape magical energy - provided a source of magic is in the vicinity. This allowed Ezreal to tap into his natural talent for magic without having to put any serious effort into it - a big win for the Prodigal Explorer. The drawback is that for some unknown reason, the amulet is attuned with summoning magic. Without warning, Ezreal may find himself acting as a champion for, as he puts it, ''a summoner hell-bent on resolving some irrelevant world-shattering League conflict.'' Still, Ezreal feels being summoned into a Field of Justice on occasion is a small price to pay.
''There's little time to study musty tomes when you're busy crawling around where the musty tomes originally came from.'' Such is Ezreal's credo.

Abilitys:
### Rising Spell Force (Passive Spell) ###[/B]
Hitting a target with any of Ezreal's abilities increases his attack speed by 15% for 6 seconds (Max Stacks: 5).
### Mystic Shot ###Ezreal fires a bolt of energy, if it strikes an enemy unit it reduces all of Ezreal's cooldowns by 1 second.
This is your main attack, Q them, auto attack them, Q them. All day. Til they die.
### Essence Flux ###Ezreal fires a fluctuating wave of energy, damaging and reducing enemy champions attack speed, as well as increasing allied champions attack speed.
This isn't your most useful move, but it can be helpful to spam when enemies are out of range of auto attack, to spam while your Q is cooling down.
### Arcane Shift ###Ezreal teleports to a target nearby location and fires a homing arrow which strikes the nearest enemy unit.
Most people don't read the end, it's NOT JUST A FLASH, it shoots at the nearest enemy! So if you're chasing, and you 'e' it will hit them. So you can Q them, E on them Q auto attack Q AA Q AA til they die, and slap your exhaust and ignite on them to ensure a kill.
### Trueshot Barrage (Ultimate) ###Ezreal channels for 1 second to fire a powerful barrage of energy missiles which do massive damage to each unit they pass through (deals 8% less damage to each unit it passes through).
Who doesn't want a ulti that can be fired from anywhere, to anywhere? It's a great way to START off a team fights, to do decent damage and improve team morale. (Cool they're lower on life than us, let's get em!) But it's also great to get that fucker that BARELY got away with only 20 life.
Careful saving it til after team fights though, if you're killed before you fire it off, It's limp and useless.
This is my build, I am not looking for advice. This is what works for me at Low - Mid ELO. If you have any questions you can message me.
You
item build will be the same, whether you lane or mid.
For my
masteries, I run 21/0/9 with points in exhaust and ignite.
I find ignite and exhaust VERY useful for ganking/ finishing opponents with more DPS than me. (Warwick, Kog'Maw, Twitch)
My masteries -
http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s168/Joshawarrior/ezreal.pngYou can always change it up to suit your needs if you choose different summoner spells.
Some
other summoner spell choices are=
Flash - A double flash is nice, I have seen summoners use it, but if you are successful with your arcane flash it's a waste to me.
Ghost - GREAT for survivability, or to chase down that final kill.
Teleport - Why not? Great to get around.
Cleanse - If you're playing ranks, and they have a lot of stuns, this is always a great option to get away. With merc treads and arcane shift it's not really needed though.
My runepage -
Armor pent red marks
Attack speed yellow seals
Cool down blue glyphs
Armor pent quints.
Start game -
For items, I grab a long sword and a hp pot.
To start the game, I like to check the enemy tower and see who I am fighting mid. If they are at their tower you can spam some early Qs for nice damage before minions even spawn. Farm well, last hit, and auto attack your opponent with your range whenever possible. ZONE them whenever possible, so they get little EXP. You can get several levels on your opponent if you're a good aggressive player. Q them, if they're hiding behind minions setup your skill shot with an E. if they're low, pursue, ignite, exhaust, Q AA Q, and if they barely survive then finish them with your ulti.
If you see your fellow lanes being pushed, don't hesitate to get up there and gank some easy kills.
Laning Q the bushes! You will hear your Q hit it the bush is occupied. If it hits Q it again, and again, til get out of YOUR bush. It's YOUR bush.
Try to farm well, EZ needs his items more than even since the nerf!
Items to shoot for -
Turn your long sword into a manamune. This is a GREAT item on Ezreal, since he spends a LOT of mana. People used to run mana runs, and mana regen runes on EZ because of this, but with manamune you will rarely run out of mana.
Boots - I use merc treads based on if I need them for the opponent, if not I use Boots of Swiftness. The movement bonus is very nice to pursue, and get away.
Brutalizer. AD and CD, what more to ask for?
Sheen - Q and AA, rapeage!
From here, I like to turn my sheen into a Trinity Force.
Your items will looks like this now somewhere -
Manamune, Merc Tread boots, Brutalizer, Trinity Force. Hopefully you can end the game by now!
If not here are other items I find very useful. (All are situational)
The Black Cleaver
Infinity Edge
Stark's Fervor
Banshee's Veil
Guardian Angel
Warmog's Armor
Thanks for reading, enjoy Ezreal.

*AA is auto attack.
