Am I hindering my learning by only playing midwars?
I'm still relatively nooby, hanging around 1550 at the moment. Trying to play in depth into each character so I can get better.
My favourites so far would be grinex, night hound, emerald warden, gladiator.

On a side note, why is hon so popular in aus? Its semi-annoying to be from western canada and get kicked from 50% of the games I join because my ping is around 200.

1) Yea, Midwars isn't a good way to get better, BUT it sure can be a stressless way to learn the basics of the game if you are new.
2) You should try some other heroes, preferably not carries
3) HoN isn't (that) popular in Australia, but they are mainly playing public games, so that's why you often meet them. 95% of the players play Matchmaking in which you can choose your regon (USW and perhaps USE for you)
