Read my post #73 before yelling at the top of your mountain bro ;)

Do you know how ridiculous your statement in post 73 sounds?

If that is the case, why don't I just pray to you for the forgiveness of my sins. I mean, the bible doesn't speak against it so according to what you believe that must be ok?? Now, see how ridiculous your statement sounds?

Speak where the bible speaks and be silent were the bible is silent.

I've been more again for years...

I'll pray for you man, but in the mean time. NEVER judge people if they are new born. If you think they said something wrong don't say "oh your just some newborn retard".
Anyone that is new born isn't going to want to stay with the faith if God's people are putting them down.

Just rejoice and move on.

You can say that. Or you can use the years of Biblical study that you implied you had and show us where in the Biblical text it says to pray to someone other than God. I'll repeat myself:

Way to show the love of Christ. Calling people pathetic? Calling their knowledge inadequate? Somehow relating that to your opinion about how they are bad at music? Laughing at them? Being condescending?

First of all, when somone laugh at what you wrote, it has to accept to be laugh at him back. It goes both way.
I understand that for new born again christian, your arguments is based on the principle of "Bible is my only authority" that will shut down all discussion that I, as a catholic, bring in here. If for you the only arguement is based on: where in the Bible its written.. then its useless to continue the discussion. For me, catholic, we also have the Bible as authority but the tradition is also considered. We judge a tree by its fruits and praying Mary gave spiritual fruits to millions of people its also mentionned in the Bible that I quotes in my past posts.

At your bolded words, Matthew 5:39:

But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

As for arguing upon tradition, there is no foundational Biblical merit for this tradition like there are for many other Catholic traditions. Simply doing it because it's always been done is never a good reason to do something. This was one of the primary motivations of Martin Luther's split from the Catholic church. In fact, he didn't even want to split from the church - he was forced to because people couldn't see the truths he was preaching. Tradition should have it's roots. All I see in the concept of praying to Mary is a huge weed that needs to be pulled.

Before remove the good seed bro just try and experience it. People are against the prayer through Mary for the wrong things and I read that again in here. Its either idolatry, Mary is not God, where in Bible its written we have to pray Mary, bla bla. You wrote things that I never wrote... It sounds an auto repulsion that most of you heard in previous preaching..I agree with Martin Luther`s petition which is basically against the concept of ''buying heaven'' Beside that, he was following the basic of what Augustine was preaching: do what ever you want with your spirituality but love. What I see here is resistance, arrogance narrow mind.

Anyway, to answer the opening thread question, yes, its good to pray Mary, the holy mother of Jesus, the mother of God. It is not my personal opinion, its the reality regardless its not written in the Bible. there is enough things written in the Bible indicating that Mary has a special relation to her son and this has nothing to do with the righteousness that the other dude try to defend..
If one day you feel that your jar is fill with tasteless water, I invite you to bring your personal petition to Mary and you got a be sure she will bring it to her son and you will see, your water will turn into wine. Wine in the Bible mean, being happy and live your life at its plentiful. There is nothing to do with drinking and getting drunk just in case you didnt get my point.. ;)
