Bullshit study. I can quit whenever I want. I just like smoking three times a day and being high all the time.

Only blind potheads think it's not addictive anyway. The medical dangers of marijuana are plenty and have been known for awhile but people continue to insist it's a perfect drug that has no ill effects.

I'm gonna tell you why you're an idiot:

1) This study does not clarify the difference between dependence and addiction, which is the first major red flag.
There is nothing physically addicting about marijuana, it's not a drug people are capable of physically craving.

2) The symptoms it lists for "withdrawals" are direct opposites of the side effects of marijuana usage.
Marijuana makes you sleepy, use it heavily and of course you're gonna have problems sleeping when you quit. Much in the same way that if you took a sleeping pill every night your entire life, if you stopped, you'd have a hard time.
This also does not make people physically crave marijuana.

3)The end of this article calls for exactly what so many pot users (who aren't just stoned hippies) want. We want it to be regulated, we want it kept out of the hands of minors.

Your move.

There is more to addiction than physical dependency. Chronic pot smokers have a mental addiction to it, which can be just as bad.

Bullshit. I smoked weed for over a year at least 5 days a week and quit with absolutely no problem the moment I got a job.

Something that millions of people spend huge sums of money on to use every day is addictive? What a fuckin shock!
