Assad's Syria:
  • Secular government, not radicalized (Yet)
  • Protects the Christians of Syria (10% of 23 million)
  • Stands up to Israel, rebels, and even remains calm while being bombed to hell

You don't mention Syria's ties to Hezbollah and Iran.

It's not very clear how Islamist the FSA is. Plus there are lots of groups fighting there for terrorist organizations, independently of FSA.

Hezbollah has been off the radar for awhile and Iranians are just harmless Persians.

NATO needs to stay neutral but Turkey and the Petroleum nations are making that choice difficult with their support of the rebels.

At least it seems like Assad is gaining the upper hand again. Rebels are too unorganized.

You're that sure he's going to win?

Send them tanks. They need more tanks.

Do you or do you not want peace in America?

Pretty clear the rebels are anti-american, considering their allegiance to al-qaeda. If the hezbollah wants to defend American interests in Syria, it's impolite not to at least take a stance of support for the president of the country. He is supporting peace during a rebellion with the help of jewish people, colored extremists, and democracy.
