I've recently been called "Anti-Semitic," i.e., being opposed to folks with the characteristic of Semites or the Semite peoples, (implying that I am against all Semite people or that only Jewish people can be Semite.) for stating that Jews are responsible for the death of Jesus. It is a very ignorant charge, considering who is found often using it, but I was pretty shocked. I've never heard of this perspective before. I thought was very indisputable, it is written in clear text the Bible probably even in the Talmud.
Is this a new trend to downplay a Biblical Holocaust?
in what context were you stating that jews killed jesus? its very easy to make a such a statment while also having anti semetic undertones.
plus theres a bit more to it, its most clearly the romans that killed him, not that the jewish people didnt play a part.
