Psh. What really happened was they were in the studio and someone mixed up their tapes and gave the other woman a reel from the same batch so their green screen looked the same, they were totally not in the same area and totally not trying to sensationalize their news reports.

In all seriousness, this looks like just some bureaucratic bullshit. Probably couldn't decide on which studio to shoot the interview in, or some union regulation about not crossing the street, or the bureaucracy needs to expand in order for the studio to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.

Or they're really desperate to make this horrifying story even more horrifying.
