So I've just read the story of that guy in connecticut getting rejected from law enforcement for having an iq that was too high

is this still enforced today and what other fields does this happen in? military/navy/any place with a strong chain of command?

Rejecting overqualified applicants is almost always a good idea, because they're highly likely to wander off and waste all of the time/money you spent training them.

easily one of the most damaging police stories as of late. no one likes hearing their police can at best be of average intelligence lol.

the military however loves getting smart people because they have plenty of highly technical fields for them.
