Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.

I agree, let's have the wealthy pay for the bridges and roads (good thing they already do) and we"ll have the poor pay for their welfare and social expenses.

agreed, i've helped several small businessmen build their business from the ground up

in every case, if asked, they did it alone, (although i dont mind), its an ego-thing

it fits the image they want, (but we both know better in all instances)

The message is pretty consistent, and he's deliberately pandering to voters by pretending that the wealthy need to pay more because of infrastructure, they dont, it's the social expenses that are getting of control, and the wealthy really didn't succeed because of government paying for healthcare.

The sentence "I never said she stole my money" can mean 7 different things depending on where you put the emphasis.

During campaign season, the opposition will place the emphasis wherever it seems most damaging, regardless of the original context.

America had help reaching the moon by the scientist in history. your parents had help raising you by their parents and so forth by the way they were raised...you can go on all day about the help we had to get where we are.

i heard some dumbass in the huffington post tried to claim that what Obama really meant was an appeal to determinism. LOL yea, that's what he meant.

My point was that the message being espoused by Fox News only had to do with not building your own business. There was no mention of infrastructure when I was watching, just a sense of alarm over Obama being a socialist that wants to seize all businesses or something.
