This article from 12/01/16 is pretty outdated, and we now have a lot more information on the subject

The article concludes with a quote about investigating the matter further. Well, that has occured.

Take a look at the ICA report and/or the Senate Intelligence Committee's assessment of the report if you want more up-to-date information.

Yeah, it occurred, & they didn’t find much more of anything. The ICA report concluded that the effort to affect & influence the election was certainly there, in Trump’s favor, not that it had a significant impact.

To give you a scope of Russia's impact, Russia shared facebook photos with frog memes that had a maximum reach of 12,000 people.

The least popular CNN articles have 10,000,000 reach on facebook.

I'd argue that the magnitude of the impact is still unknown.

My guess is that it was minimal, but I don't have much support for that claim other than pure speculation.

All that aside, statements like this:

Putin chose whatever he thought would cause the most chaos. He had no personal stake in Trump winning.

are probably incorrect based on the new information we have, and articles like this:

are likely obsolete based on the new information we have, and the investigations into the meddling, which may or may not estimate impact, are still ongoing.

who gives a fk how big an impact it had
that's done and gone
but maybe we should care that russia did try to help a candidate and it doesn't seem like we've done much to stop it from happening again
and that's not even to mention how cozy our presidente is with vlad

All we can go on is the evidence in the intelligence that we do have.

It’s “pure speculation” in the sense that there’s nothing to suggest otherwise.

Yes, the investigation is still on going, so all we can do it wait & see.

We’ve waited & we’ve seen.

It’s been almost two years. At a certain point the lack of evidence becomes evidence.

There’s no evidence, so far, that suggests Russian interference had a significant impact on the 2016 election, dispite them trying, again.

These things take time. Watergate lasted years but we all know how that turned out.

Facebook will inform lawmakers this week that roughly 126 million Americans may have been exposed to content generated on its platform by the Russian government-linked troll farm known as the Internet Research Agency between June 2015 and August 2017, CNN has learned
