Hello,
I will explain my thoughts simply because my English is not very good.
I will take
the example of chess.
In chess, people use combinatorics.
They try to anticipate the next moves.
That's what Deep Fritz does.
That's what Garry Kasparov does.
That's what I consider to be
moralism (as opposed to empiricism).
I think another strategy is possible, which would categorize the movements, and quantify the victory.
That's what I consider to be
empiricism.
Pierre Bottero said:
"There is a huge difference between the one who tries to outdo himself and the one who wants to be the best. The first works on him, the second on the others".
In today's global society, moralism is widespread.
I think empiricism is a real strength.
Empiricism is the ability to create rhythm where there was none.
Chinese people love music: they like rhythms and tones.
If they see the force in empiricism, I think they will change their attitude.
