Quote
2000 – scientists at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) publish experimental results in which they claim to have observed indirect evidence of the existence of a quark–gluon plasma, which they call a "new state of matter."
2001 – the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (Canada) confirm the existence of neutrino oscillations. Lene Hau stops a beam of light completely in a Bose–Einstein condensate.[77]
2002 – Leonid Vainerman organizes a meeting at Strasbourg of theoretical physicists and mathematicians focused on quantum group and quantum groupoid applications in quantum theories; the proceedings of the meeting are published in 2003 in a book edited by the meeting organizer.[78]
2003 – Sir Anthony James Leggett receives the 2003 Nobel Prize in Physics for pioneering contributions to the quantum theory of superconductors, and superfluids such as Helium-3, shared with V. L. Ginzburg and A. A. Abrikosov.
2005 – the RHIC accelerator of Brookhaven National Laboratory generates a quark-gluon fluid, perhaps the quark–gluon plasma
2007 to 2010 – Charles Pence Slichter is awarded the National Medal of Science in 2007 for his studies of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Solids, and especially his NMR Studies of High-Temperature Superconductors.
2007 to 2010 – Alain Aspect, Anton Zeilinger and John Clauser present progress with the resolution of the non-locality aspect of quantum theory and in 2010 are awarded the Wolf Prize in Physics, together with Anton Zeilinger and John Clauser.[79]
2009 - Aaron D. O'Connell invents the first quantum machine, applying quantum mechanics to a macroscopic object just large enough to be seen by the naked eye, which is able to vibrate a small amount and large amount simultaneously.
2011 - Zachary Dutton demonstrates how photons can co-exist in superconductors. "Direct Observation of Coherent Population Trapping in a Superconducting Artificial Atom",[80]
2014 – Scientists transfer data by quantum teleportation over a distance of 10 feet with zero percent error rate, a vital step towards a quantum internet.[81][82]

I don't think OP cares about silly things like facts or logic, etc.

You show that there is a big theory in physics on which many have worked.
OK.
What about theories in other scientific fields?

Winston Churchill said: "The power of man has grown in every sphere, except over himself".

Albert Einstein said:
Quote (Albert Einstein)
It looks as if the ruling statesmen of to-day were really trying to secure permanent peace. But the ceaseless piling-up of armaments shows only too clearly that they are unequal to coping with the hostile forces which are preparing for war. In my opinion, deliverance can only come from the peoples themselves. If they wish to avoid the degrading slavery of war-service, they must declare with no uncertain voice for complete disarmament. As long as armies exist, any serious quarrel will lead to war. A pacifism which does not actually try to prevent the nations from arming is and must remain impotent.
May the conscience and the common sense of the peoples be awakened, so that we may reach a new stage in the life of nations, where people will look back on war as an incomprehensible aberration of their forefathers!

Albert Einstein, The world as I see it, chapter "Active Pacifism"

What theories exist in the social sciences?
In the social sciences, theories are united in a single field called "sociology".
And here are the theories that exist:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Sociological_theories

Some of these theories have been abandoned without reason.
Culturalism, for example, was abandoned a little after the second world war (1950), if we believe the French wikipedia.

Two of the most important men in history have said that the social sciences are very important.
Despite this, our scientists are abandoning some theories in the social sciences.
And they create a clutter of social sciences that is unreadable
.

I created a clean and clear organization for social sciences, as you can see in this picture:

I don't agree OP.

Question is fallacious. In general is relative to what? Business or the public?

For business, scientists are doing their job very well. They get paid for that.

For the public, they don't really care and only give enough to shut us up. And are willing to manipulate us for their personal gain. Therefore, in that regard, they do a real shitty job. It's a conflict of interest.

The last known real scientist that tried to help the world was Nikola Tesla. Everyone else was/is a hired goon.

Technological advances will only occur in baby steps for us. But for those that have the money and control, they will benefit much more when science advances in leaps.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_scientific_discoveries#21st_century

Quote
2001 – The first draft of the Human Genome Project is published.
2003 – Grigori Perelman presents proof of the Poincaré Conjecture.
2004 – Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov isolated graphene, a monolayer of carbon atoms, and studied its quantum electrical properties.
2005 – Grid cells in the brain are discovered by Edvard Moser and May-Britt Moser.
2006 - Shinya Yamanaka generates first induced pluripotent stem cells
2007 – The first fast radio burst is discovered in archival data taken in 2001 by Parkes Radio Telescope
2010 – J. Craig Venter Institute creates the first synthetic genome for a bacterial cell.[7]
2010 - The Neanderthal Genome Project presented preliminary genetic evidence that interbreeding did likely take place and that a small but significant portion of Neanderthal admixture is present in modern non-African populations.[citation needed]
2012 - Higgs boson is discovered at CERN (confirmed to 99.999% certainty)
2012 - Photonic molecules are discovered at MIT
2014 - Exotic hadrons are discovered at the LHCb
2015 - Traces of liquid water discovered on Mars[8]
2016 - The LIGO team detected gravitational waves from a black hole merger.
2017 - Gravitational wave signal GW170817 was observed by the LIGO/Virgo collaboration. This was the first instance of a gravitational wave event that was observed to have a simultaneous electromagnetic signal when space telescopes like Hubble observed lights coming from the event, thereby marking a significant breakthrough for multi-messenger astronomy.[9][10][11]

There are discoveries for every field in the past 18 years alone. Here's some specific fields if you need more detail:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_psychology#Twenty-first_century

Some of the discoveries that you say don't exist include the world's first quantum computer, an animal being cloned, and the existence of mirror neurons and their effects on psychological development. Scientists are still active and producing result, trust me.

No one is supposed to ignore the law.

Since 1945 (the Yalta conference), there are laws specific to scientific research.
Can you see the paradox?

Society is organized in such a way that some citizens ignore the laws that concern scientists.
And it's something serious.

It's a privilege that scientists have.

‘There have been no new major scientific theories since Einstein’s theory of relatively’

‘There was string theory in 1974’

Do you even read what you write?

Anyway, I’d argue that discoveries applicable to medicine and further research like cryo-microscopy are more deserving of nobel prizes than theories that are very difficult to prove
