I am French.
My great grandfather was a very popular in Algeria.
Concerning the Bible, there are small inconsistencies in it.
It does not mean that it is false.
I would like to draw your attention to Micah 5:2 -
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”
Micah predicts that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem from the bloodline of Judah. The French is not part of the bloodline of Judah.
Then at Matthew 3:16-17 -
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
The voice from heaven proclaimed that this Jesus of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem, was his son whom he loved; with him he is well pleased.
I want to be clear, I do not mind you preaching the word. By all means go for it as Jesus said in Luke 9:49-50 - “Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.” “Do not stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”
It is merely the claim of being God's Son is what has me a bit concerned.
