If you're only capable of offering howlers can you at least try to top this one?

It's pretty silly to write Clinton's political obituary when she's got a 20-point lead in the primary and is ahead in every head-to-head matchup, even taking into account that those polls aren't predictive. I don't know what things look like in your little alternative universe but in this one it'd obviously take a new development to really impact the race.

Yeah no, smashing your delusions (and those offered by other people) obviously doesn't require any affiliation or support for Clinton of any kind. I personally couldn't care less whether Clinton is the nominee or not.

Keep the laughs coming though. I doubt you'll be able to top any of your greatest hits but I definitely encourage you to try for the sake of comedy.

The famous Des Moines Register poll dropped a few hours ago, showing a tightening race in Iowa for the Democrats and a continued Trump/Carson lead for the Republicans. The number in parenthesis is favorability.

Clinton 37% (77-19)
Sanders 30% (73-8)
Biden 14% (79-14)

Trump 23% (61-35)
Carson 18% (79-8)
Walker 8% (71-15)
Cruz 8% (61-24)
Bush 6% (45-50)
Rubio 6% (67-20)
Fiorina 5% (64-15)

Everyone else oon both sides polled at 4% or less, including surprisingly Paul and Santorum. Expect the poll to get outsized attention for the next week even though that's the worst way to go about analyzing polling. Hopefully a few media polls will be released tomorrow for their Sunday shows to supplement it.

Doesn't look good for him. His campaign is pretty much struggling in all areas; his fundraising is terrible and he's struggling to gain traction. Mitch McConnell basically saved him from sure defeat in the party vote to allow him to make simultaneous runs but he's probably better off just folding now. He had a unique strategy of micro-targeting with the hope of cobbling together enough votes to be a consistent-if-underwhelming candidate, a guy who could finish in the Top 4 in three of the first four states even if he couldn't necessarily win any of them. It's not happening for him though, and that strategy is proving to be his undoing.

Edit: He's literally campaigning in Alaska and Idaho. He's about as far from competitive as one can be.

I heard he's still "shopping for his billionaire" and without significant financial support it's all but over in our current system. Oh well, guess we're going to end up with a Republican with absolutely no middle appeal. Good news for Hillary I guess.

The next batch of State Department emails will be released today, around 6000 pages detailing the period from late 2009 to early 2010. Clinton also scored a huge endorsement from N.H. Senator Jeanne Shaheen. http://www.unionleader.com/article/20150830/NEWS0605/150839886&source=RSS

He's struggling to find both a billionaire bankroller and small-dollar donors. He obviously hoped to reconstitute the Ron Paul "network" but it just isn't happening for him. John Kasich is still in play, he was always the GOP's best bet for appealing to moderates given his 2013 Christie-esque media coverage.
