This is exactly right, except for the last bit: the traces would still be evident for months after that period, meaning Iran would gain little to nothing even if they had unseen facilities to move that material too. The mechanism to reapply sanctions is strong (though it could be stronger), and that doesn't even get into the repercussions Iran would face if the P5+1 determined that they had gone back on the deal.
I meant underground/unknown facilities that might be used to enrich, while we monitor the known ones.
To be honest i don't think Iran really needs/wants the nukes now, their biding their time. This deal will make it through despite opposition and 10 years from now people will acknowledge that what Iran wanted is to finally be part of the world. A lot of people like to paint the Persians as some backward people that would sacrifice their children to just have a chance to attack Israel and i just don't think this is the case. They don't seem self destructive and compared to what some of the Sunni nations are supporting in the region they look like good guys.
The Iranians are shrewd, they got a good deal and in a decade or two will eclipse the Saudis and Turks as the hegemon of ME. The Europeans know this, the Russians and Chinese know this everyone knows this and now the US is starting to get with the crowd.
Peace in the middle east is on the horizon in my opinion. The day will come were the walls of Israel will no longer be needed and my fellow Christians know what this is a sign of.
