In statistics that is called "anecdotal evidence" and is usually thrown out, along with emotional appeals, as things not quantifiable and ultimately useless.

Also posting a copy paste with no argument or discussion points is against the rules, but this time Santara will let probably let it slide (Santara for PaRD MOD 2013).

In reality its called a guy protecting the lives of dozens (or it looked to be a decent bit) of people from armed robbers without "the inevitable chaos" from an additional gun. There have been many similar cases throughout the years. But lets just play the numbers game. More people died from hammers than rifles last year. Statistic'd.

this is another thing that makes me laugh

people think that if there are people carrying concealed weapons, that somehow anarchy is going to break out, and everyone will just start shooting each other

humans, believe it or not, are remarkably self-organized and don't spontaneously resort to chaos

I know a few people who concealed carry and most of the time I forget they are even carrying.
That is, until I drive through a bad part of town and am pretty glad to know at least someone is carrying.
