...it's not fear son , it's awareness .

Your assertion that Europe doesn't have open borders with the Middle East is irrelevant since ISIS possesses state of the art passport making equipment and have openly admitted they are using the refugee crisis to infiltrate Europe . Then there are those returning from the ISIS battlefields with long established roots in Europe and their new military skills and experience .

To think they are not trying to enter America is nothing more than closing your eyes to ward off the darkness .

Its awareness to report it, it's fear to suggest we need to police muslim neighborhoods and consider nuking them

...actually it's called strategy .

I don't know if it's a reflection on modern schooling or something else that seems to limit so many peoples vocabulary but it's all but impossible to post opinions these days without being labelled as fearful or hateful .

Just because there are more domestic murders, doesn't mean radical Islam isn't the largest threat. Have you considered the attacks that have been stopped. Or the many agencies we have that protect us against this form of terrorism?

I agree that we need to focus more attention on poverty and murder, but militant Islam is a very serious threat to our country.

This is the logic that numbers just cant seem to break...

A threat to WHAT exactly? Our existence? They are a fly on the back of a mighty steed. Our population? They only threaten a slim part of one percent of our population.

I hear people talk about what a threat ISIS is? TO WHAT? Our fragile psyches are the most vulnerable targets for militant Islam, 100 people killed in a 400 million person country is a fucking blink. We can take out more of them with a single fucking javelin missile from 10 miles away while taking a steamy shit and smoking a newly available Cuban then they can and will in an entire year...

If so thats a game changer from my above post, nuclear plant would fit my definition of "existential threat".

But as i type this im vaguely remembering this exact topic coming up in the past. Didnt someone come in here claiming it would be nearly impossible to cause a meltdown without very specific knowledge in the post-Chernobyl nuclear power industry? Like im sure an explosion set off inside of a reactor would release radiation and cause serious issues, just no where near the devastation of a nuclear bomb or the tsunami event in Japan.

Either way, time for some National guard to be posted at all Nuclear plants just in case IMO

...and they are planning so much worse and will do so if possible . Can anyone really deny that Islamic radicals will use weaponized anthrax or a dirty bomb in a major population area when they finally get their hands on either ? This is the existential threat , the worst of the worst atrocities becoming as commonplace as suicide vests packed with explosives .

I've never doubted the resolve of ISIS, and agree now (unlike a few years back) that a full boots on the ground clear of Syria-Iraq-wherever is needed. That said i still don't think they have the capability to employ a dirty bomb or cause an existential threat with Anthrax. For as many times as i've heard ISIS and other organizations called "vast sophisticated organizations" etc, they are mainly planning cafe shootings and bombings, which to me are on another strategic level than dirty bombs or some other cataclysmic event.

That's because you express a lot of fear and hatred... And ignorance. Don't forget ignorance.
