It is a Christian missionary organization that brings the Bible along with the water. Which is why I linked it...as a direct response to your claim that the Christian response to problems was praying.

Because it's wrong to abuse the vulnerable ?


I don't have any objection to a Christians personal beliefs.... I don't even object to them mildly talking to people about Jesus....but to save someones life and claim it's from god is the sleaziest of sales tactics

They are on a mission from God, to spread the gospel and help their fellow man.

The result? More people with clean water, and more people with hope for the future. Step out of your preconceived notions, and try to understand it from a non-angry atheist perspective.

Christians proselytize because they consider it the right thing to do. They give aid and comfort to the poor because they consider it the right thing to do.

Your argument is that Christians must pick one or the other. Why, aside from you personally disagreeing with it? And what gives you the right to decide for those receiving aid what is or isn't in their best interests?

You're dehumanizing the poor and belittling the aid workers compassionate enough to give them assistance, all while demanding the poor worship the dollar you throw their way and scorn the humble missionaries sharing a healthier way of life.

Stop being so bitter and self-conceited.

why cant u just get in, provide them what they want/need, then get out

its like ur holding their salvation hostage in the name of god
