The government certainly can't look through my webcam, and at the very least they'd need a warrant to actually look at my personal data.

Where's the problem, again?

The problem is that this is a measure to strengthen state oppression.

'state oppression' is a pretty ambiguous, ill-defined term...

this tool is too powerful, there is nobody who can completely control the use of it. so it can and will be abused for non constitutional acts.
and if any other country in the world would do this, the usa would do sanctions against this country.

its not only against liberty, freedom of speech, privacy and presumption of innocence, you can also do industrial espionage with it and other stuff.

wonder how you can support it.

Job opportunity for how many, 5 at the most people? Batch processes do most of the work in database management. You really only need 1 person for any database. The others would just be backups / work when others are sick/on vacation.

As far as working with the data for investigation purposes, now you would be talking jobs. But those jobs are probably already in place, and PRISM is just another resource.

yup, would be nice to be one of the 5 wouldn't it?

i've worked in national defense before so it'd probably help with security clearance if i wanted to go for such a position :bouncy:
