Absolutely.

Isn't it interesting that despite the tremendous variety you seemingly have here most people make the exact same decisions in their day-to-day lives and most Americans, in my opinion, live the exact same life?

I'd like to point out, before my post is dismissed as "angsty" or some shit, that I do not consider the above to be a bad thing, necessarily.

I think the prominent lifestyle in America is generally a good one and the values people have are about what they ought to be, political ideology kind of falls into the same category as what bands you like or which films you prefer except in some cases which can be good or bad.

A bit adrift at the moment, but still very much a liberal both economically and socially. I look forward to some more global unification and hope that other nations aren't going to elect as many idiots. Because as much as I would like it to be true, my country isn't all that important globally. I liked our position of global trendsetter, and would love to go back to the roots of that. Create policy, implement it (small scale first if possible) and find out what works best, rather than just talking about it. Optimalization of society.
