who keeps their developers in prison?

I do not care about justification, this thread is about the copyright industries blatant lies.

The thread is about publishers lying and trying to blame everything that's gone wrong on piracy. We aren't talking about whether piracy is wrong or right, we are talking about it being a convenient scapegoat. Imagine if the airline industry reported that all financial issues are due to stowaways, and if only people would pay for their seats the industry would be making profit hand over fist. Whether stowaways are morally in the wrong or not should be pretty irrelevant to the discussion (which would, hopefully, be a pretty short one).

Tell me the monetary difference between pirating and not buying a game?

Small developers are the ones that have to worry the most.

They need to adapt to the market.

Maybe if they are trying to sell boxed dvds.
