It undoubtedly is. The systematic discrimination against homosexuals is quite tame compared to the former systematic discrimination against blacks. Let me know when it was ok to own homosexuals as slaves. Let me know when we had separate schools, water fountains, and other facilities for gays. Hell, we're STILL feeling the effects of the racism. So yea, it is an ignorant comparison.
