It's kind of strange how gender roles can be observed in many homosexual relations.

this is kinda why i think gay people just have some serious mental issues.

This is a good point. It's difficult to know where to draw the line.

If parents refuse to get their child medical attention due to religious beliefs, do they have a right to do this?
If parents refuse to get their child proper education, do they have a right to do this?

In both cases, they are depriving the child of something. One is more serious and potentially life threatening, but education is still very important.

... B)

Transvestite isn't the same as transgendered, but I wouldn't expect you to be able to understand the difference.

Seeing as how my sister already married her girlfriend, while Christians impotently flailed their arms and cried, I don't see how one could hate Christians over a state-governed matter.

Congratulations for your sister, but he's taking a dig at me, lmao

I think to some level all gay people are affected by the heteronormative culture. For example my boyfriend usually is the one to open doors, but I'm usually the one to open his back door.

Here's his back door, as you can see it's wide open. Sorry for the image, I know it's a little much.

We all know now that kids aren't as malleable as most people think. The largest part of cerebral development takes place in the second half of the pregnancy. There's also an example from the USA, where a boy, David Reimer, had a mishap during circumcision which in turn lost him his penis. A dr. Money decided that since gender roles are malleable and interchangeable in early parts of human life, David could be a girlie. The surgery was done, and during his life David could never identify as a girl. He therefore suffered a severe identity crisis, and eventually commited suicide.

However, your set of beliefs and morals are formed by your parents, largely between the age of 2 and 6 (that's why you should adopt kids younger than 2). Using religion to create a set of morals is not wrong at all, it is simply a means to do it. If those morals are crooked or false, the judicial system will pick it up when it haves to. People have the freedom to raise their kids the way they want to, and that's a good thing. I wouldn't want to raise kids with the current most popularized way of raising kids (spoiling them whenever they cry, not having them play outside, bad diets). Therefore, that freedom needs to exist, even though some slightly crazy people can take advantage of it and raise their kids to be equally ignorant.

Teaching children that the Earth is only 6,000 years old and that evolution is a hoax is most definitely intellectual child abuse, but I think it goes too far to compare it with phyiscal or sexual child abuse. People who teach their children these things should be mocked but not punished. Freedom of and freedom from religion is a crucial part of our Constitution in the US.

However, in cases where parent's religious beliefs prevent a child from receiving proper vaccinations or medical care should, in fact, be considered child abuse and be punishable by law.
