Atheism has killed more people in the past 60 years (that it has existed) than religion has in the past 2000 years. We only witness it today. And Secular reasons for deaths have caused factors of amounts of deaths than religious ones.
Evolutionist is a form of idolatry. And who is worshiping the sun, really? Think about it.
Atheist are not the most hated group in America. Do'nt know how that came about. Last time I heard "atheist" wasn't some insult nor were people dieing for being one.
Don't take words for fact. Think about it first. Use logic and reason.
You claim that “atheism” has caused more deaths in the last 60 years sounds bogus to me, please produce evidence to support this claim. Just because people reject the idea of God does not mean they join a movement and adopt religious-like ideologies. There is no content behind the word.
Religious people are just as happy to unbox a new iPad as a non-believer, and willing to remain silent to numerous injustices. Our standard often comes from placing our feet on the shoulders of others. I happen to have religious friends that are incredibly materialistic and self-centered.
People are quick to thank God for a windfall, but looking to the world where people are living right on the boarder of subsistence, God works in mysterious ways. Funny, how that works out.
Bill Gates is largest and most visible donor to charity, and he is a non-believer. Richard Dawkins has raised funds to noble causes.
I would love to hear your “reasons” for deaths. I hope it is not the “most evil people of the 21th century” argument.
