Sure you can. Just move to a less populated area.

Massacres don't happen in places with small populations? LOL

Honestly, even then, there's still the small chance.  It just goes down incredibly dramatically when there are fewer people around you.

When's the last time there was a mass killing in a city with under 1,000 people?  I mean, it doesn't happen very often.  It's just basic math.

Right, so we could just let out all the inmates convicted of rapes and murders in a small town and all will be peachy.

That would obviously skew the statistics pretty hard.

I'm not sure why you're not getting this. If a certain percentage of people with access to the freedoms to get themselves a big pile of guns and explosives is going to use that to terrorize people, then the more people you have, the more likely this sort of thing is to happen in your area, statistically speaking. It's just an unfortunate risk of having large cities that are full of people, especially when you factor in the alienation and lonliness that exists in a large city that is much harder to pull off in a smaller community.

Yeah that's what most americans do nowadays, blame it on math or the "amount of people", when indeed it depends on the person. Anyone in this world right now in the usa can pull another james holmes or anything at any second. It doesn't matter about these laws, it matters how you treat other people.

God Forbid If I met Cho or JamesHolmes at college, I would be the kid to strike up a conversation and try to help them, I can adapt to almost any human, you just need to be humble. That's the reason why most people do these insane killings, no one loves them or shows support. It's sickening but it's the truth. Doesn't matter about "gun laws" or "numbers" or anything, it matters about humane security and judgementalness. If people are going to be going around bullying other kids (Eric Harris, and Dylan kleboid) look what happens?

Always be nice to everyone you meet IRL. I've seen plenty of kids @ school that wouldn't talk or seemed like they had depression, I always tried to talk to them and some of them LOVED anime or something which I hated, but I always put my mind into their position and feel for them and make them happy. I did that all throughout highschool and will continue for the rest of my life.

If you read news stories about these killers, specifically cho/james holmes that they are (quite, lonely). Even one of his neighbours below his apartment said she said hi to him but he didn't say hi back. Stuff like that shows insecurity, that's where we as a Nation we need to rise up and be nice to everyone, no more bullying, no more harassment, no more judging. treat other people like how you would want to be treated; and I guarantee these stupid killings will go down by 2 fold in the next year or so. But oh wait, Americans and humans are so damn ignorant these days. I mean go look at the Karen Klein video where she got abused verbally on a bus. That could of happened to anyone and it would stick with them there entire life, then bam pull a james holmes. This shit needs to stop, it's not about numbers it's about interaction with other humans. Everyone needs to stop being so judgemental all the time and respect people and this world would be a better place, I guarantee it.

I mean I make videos of me dancing around in my room, I used to get death threats on jsp, I used to get the most insane crap/bullied on jsp. Luckily for me, I am a strong individual and didn't act on it. But I tell ya, they're everywhere bro, haters is what is killing this world.

It is you who isn't understanding it. My example was an extreme to make the point that it is not about the population, but the type of individuals living there.

HST nailed it.
