My youngest sister is heavily autistic and is 8-12 years younger in mental age than her actual age, if my mother wouldnt look after her she would be homeless, she is 22.

...which is totally unrelated to my comment about the homeless population in America . We have monitored group homes for the developmentally impaired who are much easier to care for than the non-medicated schizoaffective persons in our homeless population .

Ah sorry, i never followed the whole thread, i missed page two, you are correct a good portion of the homeless population have personality disorders.

It's like 40% maybe and that includes high-functioning mental disorders like PTSD and Schizophrenia.
