always nice to see those christian concerns for the safety of others  :P

If we imprison him properly we'll not only save his life but ensure the security of the Americans his leak threatens. I'm just somewhat disappointed that these sort of conspiracy theorists got into the NSA to start.

...it's very likely he gets snatched up by the Chinese and is never heard from again with America getting the blame .

I really wonder if he didn't think this through before going to Hong Kong, or whether he planned to try and defect to China from the start.

...I was thinking he didn't plan this all the way through if he went to Hong Kong but wants asylum in Iceland . There has got to be something seriously wrong with this guy .

a good article to read: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/09/edward-snowden-nsa-whistleblower-surveillance

he has tried to only select documents which do not endanger people - it's a long article but worth reading imo

if you call out christians who call for the blood of anyone they don't like for their unchristian attitude they will find that offensive
while nobody is allowed to find their attitude to support murder and targeted killings offensive
by now you should know how hypocritical many of the self-styled christians on this forum are
'bogie160' is one of the few exceptions

...not a big fan of cowardice or gossip either . If you don't have the guts to say something directly to another it's best not said at all .

That's well and good, but it clearly can't be left up to individuals to decide what is or isn't in the public interest. If he felt it was necessary that's fine, but he should turn himself over to the American authorities and accept prosecution as the requisite reward for breaking the law.

and have everything swept under the carpet?
there needs to be a discussion about the processes which are in place to spy on 'everyone'
once he would be in custody everything would be glossed over
so it's good that he stays tight - at least for the time being
