If we imprison him properly we'll not only save his life but ensure the security of the Americans his leak threatens. I'm just somewhat disappointed that these sort of conspiracy theorists got into the NSA to start.

if you call out christians who call for the blood of anyone they don't like for their unchristian attitude they will find that offensive
while nobody is allowed to find their attitude to support murder and targeted killings offensive

That's well and good, but it clearly can't be left up to individuals to decide what is or isn't in the public interest. If he felt it was necessary that's fine, but he should turn himself over to the American authorities and accept prosecution as the requisite reward for breaking the law.

and have everything swept under the carpet?
there needs to be a discussion about the processes which are in place to spy on 'everyone'
once he would be in custody everything would be glossed over
so it's good that he stays tight - at least for the time being
