In a choice between Hezbollah and Al-Qaeda it's hard for me to pick sides.

Hopefully we never involve ourselves in Syria. We've been moderately successful at shoving our neocons into the nearest closet and I want to keep them there for as long as humanly possible.

Obviously the first, and I think western governments agree in practice, but not in public.

...null vote since " whatever is best for Israel " is the only option for which I would cast a vote .

In reality neither, since there are better and more options than the two given.

Out of the two given, I'd prefer the Assad involvement to AQ, it pains me to say so. Assad has done terrible things, but I am of the opinion that islamist states have nothing that a free thinking man should want.

If I had to choose between the two, it'd be Assad in a heartbeat.

They stole australian passports and used them to assassinate plo leaders.

Actually, there's evidence indicating that Australia gave Israel false passports...

It's likely they did, but they can't admit that to the public/international community.

Definitely not, Al Qaida and the islamic fundamentalists are the ones that are on the "rebel" side, along with other mercenaries.
