Are we talking about mental/physical abuse of men, women, or both? Because when it affects men it's completely swept under the rug.

This is all just my perceptions, am I wrong?

Mental abuse doesn't get the attention that physical abuse does.  We don't think about it on the same level.  Hurl an insult that hurts someone's feelings and it's no big deal, but hurl a fist that bruises a cheek and here come the police.  A wife can mentally torture a husband for years, and when the man finally snaps and kills her, we would never think about that scenario the same way that we would a prostitute killing her pimp.  Why is this? Why is emotional damage devalued and physical damage a sacred cow?

I think it has to do with physical damage being easily quantifiable.  You can measure physical damage.  You see a bruise, a broken arm, a cut or scrape.  You don't see mental anguish.  I have no idea what if anything could or should be done about it.  It just occurs to me that emotional damage can be worse than physical but is never given the same level of taboo.
This is something I never really thought about until recently, and am intrigued by it.  So tell me please what your thoughts are.

Your right and im sure thats why its so under looked and never factored into it even in the media it just always seems like everyone does everything unprovoked. I think this a good thread that touches on an important issue. Our laws are limited to actions. Ive often thought about this. Nobody ever looks into it nobody factors that in to i'm not saying that people who snap and hurt somebody that justifys it but if its not some un provoked action from mental illness it's caused by mental abuse.

Even serial killers if you look statistics they are all abuse whether sexual mentally in some form or another.

lol, usually people who use mental abuse as a tool to dialogue with , are the people that refuse to watch it.

Its like trying to get an Alcoholic to admit their an Alcoholic - people never want to admit that they are causing the problem - its always someone else.

Gold is not the only steel around and because of this you can easily also prefer to buy a collection of other components. The advantage with gold is that it hardly ever varies in value http://www.viprunescape.com/
