Yeah, I really don't have principles on this. I'd be pretty at home in a much more authoritarian system so long as I was left alone when in my own home.

Is it privacy to have the government ignore what I do or say online in a public forum? The email controversy needs to be cleared up, and the government should have to get a warrant in order to search through your inbox, regardless of email age, but I don't see the government monitoring the internet to be that big of a deal.
If it's privacy or security, I choose security, at least with respect to this.
