Strongly anti-feminist, in favor of small government, fiscally conservative.
I'd be all for abolishing the government regulation of marriage.

Authoritarian nationalist, fiscally centre-right, you could say I'm liberal on social issues because I think the government shouldn't care about those.

To explain the nationalist, more in the mold of support a nation. No racism, I don't believe such a thing exists as an ethnic national identity. If you support your country I don't care what part of the world your ancestors come from. There is a national identity though. Also traditional nationalist principles such as protectionism and isolationism are detrimental to a nation, and should be abandoned.

People who confuse racism and nationalism just do not understand the problem properly.

Countries do indeed have ethnic (national) identities and they can change over time, they can be conquered or reformed, and in the Western worlds through an almost unfettered immigration. I like diversity and support anyone in preserving their own unique ethnic lineage, language, and culture but a line also the respect needs to be mutual in principle. Monoculture, wrongly termed multiculturalism, does not respect differences in diversity and encourages a complete integration while demeaning the native population. We already know what happens when a population of invaders inhabits a foreign land, a brief glimpse into history can show us many examples of this.

Integration is okay but a peoples will to preserve their ethnicity and culture can also be respected without malice, it is not a pendulum like some believe. America had a good form in the 1950's, immigration was better handled, assimilation was also valued more so. When cultures stop respecting their own and let intruders dictate how they live, that is where problems begin.

I feel Eurabia will be an interesting view into the failures of 'multiculturalism' and unreasonable immigration policies. Europe was a beautiful example of many ethnic groups inhabiting their own and fostering unique interesting cultures of human achievement. The boundaries of European culture are not being respected, a few countries are currently being flooded willingly, and I cannot say for certain that it will be too pretty in the coming decades.

I'm more of a moderate nowadays. I'm not really sure what you could call me to be honest.

I really don't like Ron's stance on abortion, seems kinda backwards from his other views.

You should look into Gary Johnson, he's a pro-choice libertarian.

All libertarians are pro-choice. It is Ron Paul republicans that aren't.

When it comes to Libertarian politics, I really like their social ideas. I'm really not a fan of the total free-market, small government idea.

I do respect it, I like how libertarians don't try to dictate the actions of others.

Also, Happy Wednesday, here's a funny video:

No Ron Paul offense intended, just fun.

They worship the Invisible Hand rather than a Christian God. Believe or not the Invisible Hand has its roots in Christianity, particularly Calvinism and the Protestant Reformation. There is a really good book that traces the genealogy of capitalism back to its Calvinist roots: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Protestant_Ethic_and_the_Spirit_of_Capitalism

Not many people really care to know why they believe what they do though :p That is the whole thing about ideology...we can say what we want about ideology, but ideology is something we all do without realizing it by definition.

Social utilitarian. I oppose the rhetoric employed libertarians and right-wingers that presents insecurity as freedom.

You really can't derive prescriptions from peoples views like that, Ron Paul might not believe in abortion but it is more of a personal belief he practices, that doesn't extend as an ought.

That is the main difference with libertarian ideology, they don't practice anything except reductions and negations, no real plans for implementation even if they had power.

It is pure apriori theory and rationalizations based on untestable/untested assumption, often using a baseless morality seemingly from a children's book, normally from some malformed economic claim.
