Way better than the usual apathy. When European governments try to pull BS on their citizens they storm the streets and shut everything down. American put stickers on their car and spread things around on facebook to raise awareness

The revolution that our society is based on is one if autonomy and freedom and anything that goes against those principles are counterrevolutionary.

I'm ok with non-violent civil disobedience as speech.

My only concern is... well, ensuring you (the event organizers) can control the actions of every single individual at the protest. Murphy's law and a right-wing open carry parade in DC leads me to believe there may be many new Condescending Wonka memes to be generated in the future.

america was founded on parading guns around capitals, and in some places that is the foundation of the american dream.

The only thing more amusing on here than pure stupidity is pure stupidity masquerading as wisdom. Thanks for meeting the daily quota.

Their demonstration is inherently violent, a show of force and less than veiled threat. A threat is a form of violence

We're talking about nice, upstanding Republicans. Not blacks.

...this is not going to happen . Washington DC is packed with throngs of visitors on the 4th especially for the annual fireworks display back-dropped against the monuments not to mention the march would be in direct conflict with DC laws .

People seriously have too much fucking time on their hands. This is what's so wrong with society today, retards like this out there constantly trying to create controversy.

Does this look like a well regulated Militia? No, it looks like a private militia which can and should be considered rebellion.

Seriously need to put these idiots on an island and let them shoot themselves, not everyone else.

They do not have to be a well regulated militia, the right to keep and bear arms applies to all individual American citizens, except when specifically removed through the due process of the law.

Only morons think the right is explicitly for maintaining a militia. go read some contemporaneous literature to see exactly what the founders intended.

I know. All you have do to is go read the Federalist Papers, and you'll see it's clear that the Founders intended for every redneck in the country to carry concealed automatic pistols with high capacity magazines everywhere they go.
