...the PRISM program is the name given to the NSA monitoring of internet activity for the purpose of national security . As someone who always assumed the government would monitor the webs from day one and who also recognizes that planned terrorist attacks against the homeland have been averted I am not concerned in the least that the program exists ; in fact I support it . My real concern is who is leaking these top secret activities to the media and are we actively investigating this breach of of their confidentiality agreements and thereby alerting future attackers of an important tool we use to intercept their communications . Whoever is doing the leaking should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law .

Microsoft has an agreement with PRISM, and was one of the first to associate with the program. There is hearsay that their upcoming gaming console the Xbox One may be a means to deliver such information.

lol, you believe that? If you have no problem with this intrusive surveillance, set up 24/7 live cameras in your home and in front of your computer so we can all see what you do every day.

This cannot be allowed, especially by those who it was mostly used for (non-Americans). Sadly noone will probably have the balls to actually initiate some sanctions, the fallout will probably be a decrease in willingness to cooperate with policing the world, as always.

It would at least have been nice to know that you're under surveillance.

personally I don't mind it existing, and I don't think anyone who is 'legit' and law obiding is against PRISM

What is far worse is Facebook. cause it grew too big and is exploiting that is big - a giant database with almost everyone, millions and millions of people with their real name, address, studies, job, friends, and so on
