Studies have shown that obesity related disease is the biggest killer in the States, not smoking.
Studies have also shown that having fat friends increases the likelihood that you will be fat.
Should we outlaw fat people from public places? They obviously cause harm to the people around them since their friends, family, and acquaintances subtly change their eating and lifestyle patterns to match the fattest person in the room. The place most likely to meet other people is in a public location, which statistically could be a fat person. If you strike up a conversation with a fat person and become friends, this could incur great harm upon yourself and your family.
Being fat raises your blood pressure, contributes to arthritis, is associated with asthmatic issues, causes sleep apnea, raises cholesterol, contributes to fertility problems, raises the incidence of some cancers, and increases the likelihood of depression.
Fat people get sick more often and take more sick days. They're bad to look at in general and probably have a negative impact on tourism. They live on average six to eight years less, and have long aggravated illnesses and put great pressure on our system of medicine for organs and treatment. Billions of dollars are lost annually to fat people.
I say we ban them in beaches and public parks, first of all, since no one needs to see fat people getting exercise.
