Yes but the diff between 400mf and 1000mf is like 80% for unique. 80% is pretty significant. I want to maximize my chance when that corona/diadem/etc... drop that it'll be unique.

+mf = -skills = -time = majority normal+exceptional uniques...

Only when merc kills. If merc kills, he get his mf + yours. If you kill, you only get ur mf, not merc.
