Little backstory: Ive come out of retirerment, made a few signatures... I always price my work as "100fg-1000fg depending how much u like it".
Now twice, Ive had people reply to me trying to get my work for 50-90fg trying to lowball my very fair pricing.. (judah is actually wearing the signature I made. Without payment. and said "give you 90?") which is kinda what spawned this post...


Ok. Now I know the "value" of fg varies. But lets just for rule of thumb in the sake of this discussion of a service provided.. Lets say 100fg is about 1$

I, as a graphic designer. Make 35-40$ per hour doing all sorts of graphics work. This has nothing to do with jsp signatures for sure as working for people is always different obviously. But just sayin. I drive a 2012 Silverado...

Over the past 7 years ive made 100s of signatures for all types of people.. Its something I enjoy doing and I do it in my spare time, and by no means expect to be paid anything like I would for actual professional jobs.


But when someone is literally not willing to dish out 1-2$ worth of fake money... For the work of another person.

Go hire a hobo to make your graphics :P

50-90fg is fair for a vast majority of the amateur work that is sold here including yours

the only quality work being put out right now comes from Gdgc Signature Battle Service

i don't need something complicated. I don't even need something "edited". just copy+pasted and slapped on a border... maybe the unedited artwork from diablo 2 characters behind each char ^^


what do you charge for center+bolding text? tells me something about your "taste" :lol:

if you're spending 30min on a 100fg sig you're doing it wrong.

More so, if you make that much an hour. You are off ATVing or something fun, not doing the poor mans thing and playing video games.

You can be a graphic designer and be bad at signatures lol. I'm a UI Designer and can't make sigs as good as some of the people here. Some of the concept artists I work with have amazing work and probably wouldn't make good signatures.

you can be a graphic designer and be bad at everything. i am absolutely shocked to see some of the work people sell.

True but I'm talking about professional designers though, not freelancers.
