i like the colors but the flow is the biggest problem imo. the shapes you used dont compliment each other too well

I agree with the rest tho, but with the border, imo use whatever u like, its by choise.

stop with the borders unless needed please
the smudging is over sharpened and the soft brushing is too noticible
try to use very low opacity filters to change contrast/etc
and use smudging/layer properties for colour

i honestly don't like the colors on the first one. reason might be is because there is no flow and shapes are randomly added on
