Okai, so found one guy that needed digital painting , i pmed him and he told me what i have to do i worked on the pic for 4 hours strait and i showed him what i have made, he likes it and tell me to go on, i edit the pic 3 more hours !
after that i send it to him, and he likes it alot whit few changes in mind , he askes me to make few more jobs that he want to be done, i made them but he and his staff didnt like them, so they decide to stop working whit me and he gives me 500 forum gold for all the i have made when we first sad that the digital painting is going to cost 1k + he sad " i wont use that pic i cant give you more than 300"

!!Sry for my bad English its rly late now and i hardly keep my eyes open

so What do you think of it
1. he is right that i must not get the full price because they wont use the image or
2. im right because he sad he will buy it and its not my problem that he wont youse the pic and i must be fully paid ??

sounds like youre going to have to swallow the time wasted and just try to benefit of what you've learned making it
this is why I tend to stay away from requests, people have an intangible idea in their head of what they want done and try to explain it in 3 poorly worded sentences; then expect people to get exactly what they are looking for

I am the image requester, and I offered between 500-2k FG for a digital image, and killertino accepted. I accepted under the condition that he would adjust the image as we went under my direction. He did so, but to his own ideas of the image and not mine, beside that, it was later determined that the image is unusable for my purposes.

I gave him 300 FG for the work he did so far the first day, said I was pretty happy with where we were going, but almost none (chest incorrect, lines not varied, robe and chest look terrible, etc etc) of my suggestions made it through. I'm not sure if it's language barrier or what, but in the end my staff found a solution. I have access to three actual artists (professional artists, like, they get paid real money to paint/etc) who were willing to look at it and see what they could do. As such, I told him that I wasn't going to use his image, and gave him an additional 200 FG for time invested. (I had offered him another 300 but he told me it was an insult and that I scammed him, which I kind of took offense to.)

I think it was generous to give him the extra 200 after, but we'll see what you all think if anyone actually cares to read this wall of text.

And no, I gave him clear, concise directions on what I wanted done, ( WITH IMAGES DENOTING SPECIFIC POINTS ) and he didn't change them.

Ah now that is just rude i was trying to make eveything you want ! you see its not easy to see what your eyes see , specialy when im an artist and i see the things rly diferent

Oh m8 you've done a great job realy but this guy f*cked you up ... he has to give you at least 1k couse if he said he will buy it till the last moment that means HE HAS TO and if you worked your ass for this thing, then you have to be payed. It will be realy rude for you to be unpayed for a job that you gave all you have.

I'm not sure how you sig big ass red lines and circles differently, maybe it's the text that I gave you along with it.

didnt read all cuz tl;dr
but to me you shoud of specified that the more extra fixup the more u get paid imo even if he decide to get a refund or not buying it
7 hours wasted worth more than 500fg imo :|

He doesnt HAVE to give him anything, this is the risk involved in doing requests, 300fg is a lot more generous than a lot of people would have done

I still disagree with the clear concise directions, this is nearly impossible on every level when it comes to digipainting
