lined paper just confuses the eyes mate, try using real drawing paper ;)
also use lighter lines, treat your pencil like a paint brush almost

/btw guys im just tutoring kaboom don't worry i'm not sticking around

nice sketch, keep it up

Lay of the line thickness and darkness. Look at other artists work to see how to use shade to add form

try to observe faces in real life, and you'll notice there are no such things as outlines -- just differences in value
Also stick with blank paper, and figure out spacing, use grids if you have to

Grids work wonders when you draw from references. I use it a lot when doing still life.

i dont know what to think of this but yes, i did crop a larger piece that i made myself, in order to fit it into a signature. tard. im sure you of all people can give me a lesson on "artistic skill"


and op excuse my earlier post it's not that bad. just hard to tell so close up and it looks like your pencil was really dull or something
