Was looking at both, can get them for pretty much the same price, so I could just get the Pen & Touch for the added features. But I mainly want this for digipainting and I'm not sure if the Pen & Touch will restrict me somehow while digipainting (I probably will have my hand on the screen while painting as that's how I hold pencils).

Need feedback before spending the $$.

Actually, I was considering that for awhile, but everyone here said it's not worth the extra 200$ unless you want to go professional. :Z

You've used it, have you also tried the bamboo? If so, is it really worth the extra cost? I don't mind paying the extra assuming I'll be using this same one for many years, donno how often you need to upgrade things like this.

Edit: Also, what's cintiq? o.o

Not that it's not worth the extra money. It's not yet worth getting if you're just starting. I'm sure that some of the other people that spend almost all of their time painting/digipainting/psbrushing have some more expensive tablets.

the touch just uses your fingers, its a waste of money, like a giant mousepad.

get just the pen.

<3 but I wasn't talking about the touch though, was talking about the Pen & Touch version located here: http://www.wacom.com/bamboo/bamboo_pen_touch.php

Unless that's what you meant. :o
