Tired of using a mouse, thinking of getting a tablet (most likely Wacom, unless you know a better brand)

Planning on spending 50-100$, maybe more if it's really worth it.

I just got the bamboo pen. Works great for what I need it :)

If you're looking for something more intense, intuos makes a good tablet... but if you just want pen pressure and a decent surface to draw on, I'd go with the Bamboo for $50-$60.

Thank you, that's actually the one I've been considering the most. :D <3

Also what size do you guys find most useful? I've never used one before but I just feel like too small would make it more difficult.

I'm actually using the 3x5 to draw on a 37" monitor... lol. It's pretty easy to get used to but it really depends on your own comfort.

Really? I saw that one which is actually what got me thinking it'd be annoying to use one that small. Hmm... don't know now. :p

I think I might wait to get this: http://www.wacom.com/intuos/medium.php

Looks crazy sexy. Does anyone know if they're really worth the extra cost?

totally not worth it
that's for professional shit- if you know what you're doing.
if anything get the bamboo series, that too nothing over 100 dollars
it's not a good substitute for a mouse, only a more accurate utensil

Bamboo is cool. I haven't used anything better so I can't tell you how good it is in comparison to other tablets, but it serves my purpose of effing around on photoshop.

Kk, thanks all, gonna go with bamboo then. ^-^ No point in an extra 200$ for something that'll probably be outdated in a few years anyways. :p

Thread still tracked and more opinions will still be helpful.
