Don't understand the shield choice

9/10 love it!

I personally like getting DF for my assassin's. your life / mana is very very good. those hand sycthe's are fantastic, as is the amy and circ. i dont understand the shield choice either, can you elaborate on it ?also your str seems a little high,please advise.

His Str is high because his 2 highest Str items (hand scythes) have +dex/str jewels in them. The str on those jewels is useless.
