The United HardCore Dueling Association (UHCDA) is planning on hosting four "test" tournaments in which a total of 1250 fg is going to be given to the winners and runner-ups. If these "testing" tournaments end up being a success (at least 8 duelers per tournament-category) then the UHCDA (funded 100% by me) will be hosting more tournaments in the near future.

Im making this topic because I need feedback and opinions on how to organize the different levels/categories. It is obvious that a well geared level 9 or well geared lvl 12 dueler has no chance against a well geared lvl 18 or let alone a well geared lvl 24. So, the best thing is to separate them into different categories and therefore different tournaments for each category.

I was thinking on splitting each category or brackets like this:
Category 1 goes from lvl 9 to lvl 12 (Since everyone will go for the higher lvl, then from now on, each category will have the maximum level as the name), so Category 1: lvl 12s
Category 2: lvl 14s
Category 3: lvl 18s
Category 4: lvl 24s

Maybe I should merge lvl 12 and lvl 14 into just lvl 14, but im sure most people will want it to stay this way. Or maybe make Category 1: lvl 9s and Category 2: lvl 14s??. Feedback here will be appreciated, since im not a Very Low Lvl Dueler, mostly just LLD (from 14 18 24 30 on).

There will be categories 5, 6, 7 for the other levels, 27, 30s etc. But since this will be a "Test" tournament (actually four testing tournaments), the UHCDA has decided to host a tournament for the first four categories.

Prizes (Fg and medal icons for the hall of fame page ill create) will be given (by me) the following way:
Category 1: Grand Champion wins 100 fg, runner-up wins 25 fg.
Category 2: Grand Champion wins 200 fg, runner-up wins 50 fg.
Category 3: Grand Champion wins 300 fg, runner-up wins 75 fg.
Category 4: Grand Champion wins 400 fg, runner-up wins 100 fg.

Note: I got plenty of fg from other game's gold/items, so I can get a lot quick. Fg for the prizes wont be a problem, as a matter of a fact, ill have over 2k fg before the tournaments begin so you can be sure the fg will be given to their righteous winners. Although I know I will probably win all the categories, so it will be like paying myself anyway. The House of the Seth Alliance has always trained the best legit duelers on this realm, that's because the House of the Seth Alliance has the resources, experience and skills to be the best on HC Us East and we will prove it again by winning these four testing tournaments.

The model for each tournament with 8 duelers in total, will be the following:

A tentative date to start the tournament will probably be late December. So anyone interested in participating can have plenty of time to prepare, level up, buy items, plan your tactics/strategies, etc etc.

The rules are the following:
-To win a fight (which will be fought in Blood Moor) the following must happen: a) you kill your opponent, b ) your opponent leaves Blood Moor (by exiting the game, returning to town, entering den of evil or entering cold plains).
-To advance to the next round you have to win 2 out of 3 fights or if you kill your opponent.
-Each duel will be fought in private games, and each dueler will be allowed to bring their lvl 1 looters in case they die. Also I (referee) must be in each duel to witness the duel actually happened. There can be more spectators/witnesses too, but everyone (except the duelers) must be level 1.
-Each duelers in each round will be given 5 days to fight their current round, then another 5 days for the next round and so on.
-Potions are allowed (this is Hardcore after all, so it is allowed here).
-Prebuff is allowed with your own dueling char.

Fortunately, due to the low level nature of this tournament, hacks wont be a problem at all. The only hack that could take effect at these levels is chicken life/tp hack, and whoever uses it will be using it at their own risk since they can lose all their gear if they die, or loss a fight quick by tp-chickening. So it is recommended (if you don't wanna lose your gear if you die), to turn off chicken life so you can get looted by your lvl 1 looting friend in case you die.

Honest and gently feedback and opinions are welcome. Rude BS and insults are gonna be reported as spam and wont be replied. Im not gonna waste time replying dickheads.

Please I beg the mods not to close this topic because we all know the HC players never visit the dueling forum (which is mostly a softcore forum), so I think this is the best place to make this questions.

The reply to LubeTube from the other topic:

Yes I was thinking on making Category 1 lvl 9s and Caategory 2 lvl 14s. I think that would be better.

seth see if u can convince a med to back you on this and hold the fg til winner is declared. that way people can buy in and the prize can be bigger.

I want to make this first tournaments the simpliest way possible. If it ends up being a success, we can make bigger ones.

I could give the 1250 fg to a med days before the tournaments begin, but remember it could take days or a week or so for it to finish because each dueler is given a 5 days time frame to fight their opponent in each round. So it might end up lasting 2 weeks in the worst case scenario. Best case scenario tourney could last 2 or 3 days.
