Don't do quests for NP. None of them make you any NP (only quests to do if you aren't after trophies are Kitchen Quests and that's only to earn stats, you still make a massive loss NP-wise)

The frees etc is already listed in xNick's thread..everyone has their own opinion when it comes to games, not everyone is good at games.

First off, The big red letters tell you not to post in here, Seccondly.. you apparently dont know of Wand of the Dark Faerie... Worth over 900Million Neopoints.. Yeah, didn't think so.. Level 50+ Reward from Jhudora The Dark Farie.
Stronger then the S.o.S. ( Sword Of Skardsen ) by Far, doing 16.25 - 24 actual icons as far as damage is concerned.
The Wand does upto 32 Icons + 20% heal when in red + 75% Reflection of Light attacks back at Enemy..



Even if things are a moth old.. they can still be very useful...
..Like this page.. I'll use it as a Quick refrence..
And i know Many more will use it as such for much longer then a moth, and the number of people that will use it will grow, as the population of D2jsp does

For the wand of the dark faerie there's a reason it's worth 900mil. From level 25 onwards jhudora will almost always ask for unbuyables. This means you have 25 levels of having to buy unbuyables (all r99) so good luck with that. Same with the honey potion with Illusen (which are 800k)

On average you will spend 800k on average to get the honey potion (which is why they've been stable at 800k outside wars). And if you somehow get the WotDF, good job, however that's not money making at all. It's gambling. So how about next time you write a 'guide' and include stuff in it, include helpful description and actually post things that are relevant to what you want to have.

Good that you've added some stuff to my guide, I was going to add more but I could not use the edit anymore. :S

Today we'll Talk about the stock market, The stock market is not all luck like many will tend to belive.
The stock market has a site just for Research it's called ( http://www.neodaq.com ) Mind you this site is not made by Neopets..
The site is devoted to all things witch are the Stock market, and some other useful things.. but we're not talking about those right now.

Most of all it just takes Experince, if you watch the #'s you'll find a pattern, They drop 2-3 times then they go up slowly, or they drop once, then go up rappidly.
In my experince i've made probally +372k Proffit from a 100k investment that's 300% profit.
As you may have guessed, I dont like the stocks very much.. so i dont use them, i like the slots better, Faster payout/Losses LoL..
The Stockmarket is a waiting game.. Dont ever sell for less then what you want to gain, that 100k investment, Took months....

Astute33, has some good information on the Stock market so i'll post it here..



Part 1: General Requirements

In order to start your investing career, below are some requirements which you should have to become a successful Neodaq Tycoon.

1. Patience - It is completely normal for a stock to not do very much for MONTHS. The Stock Market is NOT a get rich quick game. However, if you continue to invest everyday, make your portfolio grow, and wait, profits can be amazing.

2. Discipline - If you have set a target to sell stocks only after it has made 200% profit, then stick to it. Do not get swayed.

3. Capital - You need investing Capital to play the stock market, sometimes it may take months before a stock will rise to your target selling price. So if you cannot afford to spare the Neopoints, do not invest.

4. Adventurous - The Stock market is a high risk game, there is chance to lose lots of NPs, so if you cannot afford the risk, don't invest.


Part 2: NeoPets Stock Buying

1. Short term Stock movement is generally random, but long term wise, there may be some pattern. You can visit http://www.neodaq.com which plots and updates the individual stock movement charts. If you are interested in the Stock movement trend and history, the charts will provide you with the necessary information.

2. Always buy at least 500 shares of the stock you want to invest in. Do not buy very small quantities as the broker charges you a fee of 20 NPs when you sell shares.

3. To take minimum risk, buy stocks which are priced at around the 15 to 20 NPs range. Some expensive Stocks may look like a very good investment. In such cases, it will depend on your own judgment whether to take the risk.

4. The Stock price changes roughly every 30 minutes, so if you are not able to find any stock to invest in, just wait a while and check back later.

5. Diversify your portfolio, invest in a few stocks which you think is promising. Even for very good stocks, it is not wise to buy only that particular stock, since it may not rise to your selling target for a very long time.

6. If there are a few stocks at 15 to 20 NPs range, and you are undecided on which to invest in. You can take a look at the volume of each stock to see what other players are investing in. The volume will not affect the price movement of the stock, but it will tell you which stock is more desirable.


Part 3: NeoPets Stock Selling

1.. Always set a selling target, for example, if you bought 1000 shares of a stock at 15 NPs , you should set a target like maybe 30NPs. So when the price hit 30NPs, you sell it off and earn 15,000 NPs. Don't be greedy and keep waiting, as the price may drop. This takes a lot of discipline, easy to say, but difficult to follow. Note that 30 NPs is just for reference, if you are prepared to do long term investments, set a higher target.

2. Never sell at a loss! You can't lose NP in this game unless you do this. If a stock goes down, don't panic, never fear. It will go back up. If you decide to buy stocks that are really high, the risk is much greater. The only way you can actually permanently lose NP on the stocks in a way that is uncontrollable to you is if a stock bankrupts. This is very rare.

Yea, my favourite thread to post in. (Just FYI, discussion about pros and cons to guides always make it better as different views are discussed). I agree with you on one thing, the stock market is a great way to make NP even though it might take a while.

Just some comments from someone who is experienced in the stock market (at one point in time I have 6mil invested).

Capital: Like you say you need lots of it. When this guide says 'if you can't afford to spend NP then don't' this guide means it. Investing 15k a day adds up (you will be throwing in more than 100k a week).

High Risk: I disagree with this statement. The only way you can lose money is if a stock goes bankrupt (this hasn't happened for 2 years or so JCK was the last one) or if you sell at a loss. Now you shouldn't sell at a loss for obvious reasons so you will always make a profit.

NeoDaq: Great site. I learnt the ropes there and I recommend everyone at least have a read through what's there.

Buying: Although there are many buying strategies, I find a fool proof way is buying 1000 shares of the cheapest stock (generally at 15 or 16) each day. Diversifying is important (this means that if you have the option of two shares to buy, buy the one you have least of)

Selling: I found a selling point of 60 was good for me. This might seem high for new players into the stock market, but if you are after constant turnovers then a lower selling point of 45 may be desirable. Remember, the lower the sell point the more sales you will make but you will make a smaller profit. Also, your portfolio will not grow to large numbers. I think on NeoDaq there was an analysis of the stock market over the last 6 years and it was found that you would have gotten the highest profit from a selling point of 62.


In conclusion, seems like an ok guide, however next time I would not just copy and paste it from someone else. Just a point, when I played the stock market, I have 6m or so stocks like I said. My portfolio was self sustaining (ie it made enough money for me to invest) and it also pulled 1.5mil a month in on average for me for only 5 mins work a day.

If your number is under 180 you should add 202.5, but if it is above 180 you need to minus 157.5.
After getting the result from that divide your answer by 22.5 and you should get a number.

Please round up all your answer. If it is .49 and below round down, if it is .50 and above round up to the next number.
