Neopets Dailies Guide:

This guide is just a list of links plus descriptions for dailies (things you should do on Neo each day or every few hours), and is the first in a few I have planned. I'm interested in getting feedback from you guys too, so don't be shy . Anyways, on to the guide.

Most dailies are a chance to get free items, other are a chance to get NP or free stats for your pets. In this guide I’ve divided the dailies into two sections. Free dailies which you really have no excuse not to do each day and dailies which cost NP but the reward is worth it in better items, better stats are avatars.

Free Dailies

The Bank: http://www.neopets.com/bank.phtml - once a day
This is a no brainer. Deposit all your hard earned (or hard purchased ) NP in here and collect the interest each day. Hey, it's not much but it's free and the tax beast or sloth can't steal your NP. Don't forget to upgrade your bank account when you can too.

Fruit Machine: http://www.neopets.com/desert/fruitmachine.phtml - once a day
This is a freebie that's been around for ages. 'Spin' the wheel and you could win anything from cheap food (Ummagine etc) to battle muffins, to petpets and even paint brushes (rare, but not impossible. I've gotten two before). Most of the time you get nothing but I guess what you get what you pay for eh?

Giant Jelly: http://www.neopets.com/jelly/jelly.phtml - once a day
A chance to get a free jelly each day. Almost all jellys are very common although there are a few rare ones. I've gotten an unbuyable one before.

Healing Springs: http://www.neopets.com/faerieland/springs.phtml - once every 30 mins
A chance for your pet to get cured of a disease, restore HP or get a free healing item. Never buy cures for your pets, just keep going here every 30 mins and eventually your pet will be cured.

Coltzan's Shrine: http://www.neopets.com/desert/shrine.phtml - once every 12 hours
A remnant from a plot many years ago. Go here once or twice a day and maybe you will find burnt lost desert food, dubloons, a little NP or your pet may even gain some stats.

Giant Omelette: http://www.neopets.com/prehistoric/omelette.phtml - once a day
Much like the Giant Jelly where you usually get cheap food.

Snowager: http://www.neopets.com/winter/snowager.phtml - 6-7 am NST, 2-3 pm NST, 10-11 pm NST
If you visit here during the times he is asleep you have a chance of getting a soft toy, a cheap bd weapon or maybe even a negg. If you get blasted you might even get an avatar.

Symol Hole: http://www.neopets.com/medieval/symolhole.phtml - once a day
If you have a petpet you can go here and get your pet to jump in the hole. Your pet may find an item (and hence get you an avatar) or you most probably will find nothing. Be careful, there are reports that your petpet can change or disappear, although I’ve never encountered that.

Tombola: http://www.neopets.com/island/tombola.phtml - once a day
A chance to get free gross food, faeries and even codestones.

Deserted Tomb: http://www.neopets.com/worlds/geraptiku/tomb.phtml - once a day
Once a day you can go here and have the chance to get an avatar, codestones or faeries. There’s a chance your pet can lose half its HP so it might be a good idea to visit the healing springs after this one.

Underwater Fishing: http://www.neopets.com/water/fishing.phtml - once a day
Fish here once a day for the chance to get rare items (however this only occurs as much higher fishing skills). There’s also the chance to get an avatar. You can fish with each of your pets each day by changing your active pet each time.

Grumpy Old King: http://www.neopets.com/medieval/grumpyking.phtml - once a day
Tell the king a joke (as far as I know what you actually tell him doesn’t affect anything as it’s random) and you may get some food, or even a couple of avatars.

Wise Old King: http://www.neopets.com/medieval/wiseking.phtml - once a day
Much like GoK except that there’s only one avatar to collect and you get books instead of food.

Shop of Offers: http://www.neopets.com/shop_of_offers.phtml?slorg_payout=yes – once a day
Free 50 or 100 NP each day, no strings attached.

Lunar Temple http://www.neopets.com/shenkuu/lunar/?show=puzzle – once a day?
I don’t know much about this one as it’s been put up after I’ve quit so I anyone can tell me that would be great

Guess the Weight of the Marrow - http://www.neopets.com/medieval/guessmarrow.phtml - once a day
Take a guess each day and if you’re right you could win some marrow items. There’s no trick to it, just blink luck.

Advent Calendar - http://www.neopets.com/winter/adventcalendar.phtml - once a day in December
In December go here once a day for free items and maybe even an avatar (only if TNT releases one)

Maybe add Turmaculus, I don't know what he gives but is known to raise pet/petpets strength and sometimes give items, and stuff which once a month gives 2000 np and free food for each pet.

This is the second half of my dailies guide. It includes all the things you can do each day (or multiple times each day) that either cost you NP each time you do them or have an initial cost of use.

Non-Free Dailies

Lab Ray: http://www.neopets.com/lab2.phtml - once a day – initial cost of ~600k
Each day you can zap one of your pets and one of several random things will happen to your pet. These include:
- An increase or a decrease of stats. If you use the lab ray over a period of time your pets will have a net increase of strength, hp and speed and a net decrease in defense. Intelligence is not affected by the lab ray.
- An increase or a decrease in levels. Using will give a net decrease in levels but beware; if your level is low enough your pet’s level may be lowered to 1, not just decreased by 2 at the higher levels.
- Your pet may change gender, species or colour, however not all colours or species may be gained from the lab ray. These include:
- Krawks
- Draiks
- Royal pets
- Baby pets
- Nothing might even happen if you are unlucky
- There are also several colours (such as robot and jelly) that are only available from the lab ray (or a Fountain Faerie Quest)

Petpet Lab Ray: http://www.neopets.com/petpetlab.phtml - once a day – initial cost of ~7k
Each day you can zap one of your petpets and much like the original lab ray it can change colour and species. Unique to the Petpet ray is that the name of the petpet can also be changed.

Stocks: http://www.neopets.com/stockmarket.phtml?type=portfolio – once a day – daily cost of 15k+
The 15k a day might look intimidating, but believe me, after around 12 months you will be pulling in 1 million a month just from stocks alone and from only 5 minutes of work a day. A stocks guide would be much to lengthy to include here but if you ask around on the stocks board people will link you to stocks guides.

Test Your Strength: http://www.neopets.com/halloween/strtest/index.phtml - once every 6 hours – 100 NP
A chance to win low amounts of NP, spooky food, spooky furniture and even spooky petpets. This one always yields you a net loss over time and there’s no avatar for it so I always gave it a miss. Note that it doesn’t matter when you click the button, your result will not be affected.

Buried Treasure: http://www.neopets.com/pirates/buriedtreasure/index.phtml - once every 3 hours – 300 NP
You can win different amounts of NP here up to 20k, although I’m not sure if there is a net gain or loss from this game. However this is an avatar from it so if you’re into them don’t forget to go here.

Wheel of Mediocrity: http://www.neopets.com/prehistoric/mediocrity.phtml - once every 40 mins – 50NP
Another daily that makes a loss in your books. You can win low amounts of NP or your pet may lose HP. However, the main reason for this one is the avatar you can get if you spin up 1000 NP although the chances are extremely low for that to happen.

Wheel of Monotony: - http://www.neopets.com/prehistoric/monotony/monotony.phtml - once every 24 hours – 100NP
You can win NP, plushies, a pb and items from this one although it takes forever for the wheel to stop (and hence you get your prize). If you ask around on the boards there’s a method to see how long the wheel will spin for and your prize, however I never bothered with this daily once I got the avatar.

Wheel of Excitement: - http://www.neopets.com/faerieland/wheel.phtml - once every 2 hours – 150 NP
One of the few paid dailies that runs a profit. You can earn NP, items, faerie ability levels (which do nothing), get a pet cured and your pet can even get sick. Make sure you do this one as much as you can.

Wheel of Knowledge: - http://www.neopets.com/medieval/knowledge.phtml - once every 24 hours – 500 NP
Another wheel available for you to spin. This one can raise or lower your pet’s intelligence, give out books, meridell food and battledome items. You can also earn an avatar if you spin up the star.

Winter Scratchcard Kiosk: http://www.neopets.com/winter/kiosk.phtml - once every 6 hours – 600 NP
A chance to win np, plushies and levels for your pet depending on the level of your card (which is random). Even if you don’t want to gamble just buy one and throw it in your shop as all cards sell for a profit. Note that you can only get one scratchcards in each timeframe, not one of each.

Spooky Scratchcard Kiosk: http://www.neopets.com/halloween/scratch.phtml -- once every 2 hours – 1200 NP
Much like the Winter Kiosk except that the higher rarity cards usually sell for a lot more NP. Note that you can only get one scratchcards in each timeframe, not one of each.

Lost Desert Scratchcard Kiost: http://www.neopets.com/desert/sc/kiosk.phtml - once every 4 hours – 500 NP
Once again like the other two kiosks except that you scratch it in a flash animation. Note that you can only get one scratchcards in each timeframe, not one of each.
