This is not a cheap build, to get the best results, you have to spend some currency.

The two BP's we will be hitting is the 142% FHR BP and the 200% FCR BP.
I am going to supply you with the ladder build and give non ladder alternates for the gear where available.

Legend:
Red = Ladder

Green = Non Ladder

First off, the stats:

Strength: Enough so that you hit 156 strength w/ all your gear on to use Spirit.
Dexterity: None, too much is required to hit max block with a Spirit, and it is not needed.
Vitality: This is where all the points you don't spend in strength should be going.
Energy: None, since Fire Bolt doesn't require much mana, somewhere around 2.5 mana cost.

Secondly, the gear:

Helm: ~> 14 FHR/20 FCR

2 Sorc
20 FCR
2 Os

Any circlet with ATLEAST these mods will do, anything extra is total dependant on what you can spend on her, but these stats are a MUST. Some suggestions for extra mods would be:

Strength
Life

Socket the circlet w/ 2x 15 All Resistance/7 FHR Jewels

Amulet (In order of importance): ~>15 FCR (20 If you use Fletch, but that's 5% overkill)

2 Sorc
15 FCR
Strength
All Resistances
Life
Mana

Armageddon Fletch

Armor: ~> 30 FCR

Up'd Vipermagi

Socketed with a 15 All Resistances/9 Strength jewel.

Weapon: ~> 40 FCR

40 All Resistances Hoto Flail

Shield: ~> 35 FCR/55 FHR

35 FCR Spirit Monarch (35 FCR is a must, mana/sorb is up to you)

Rings: ~> 20 FCR Total

2x 10 FCR Rings w/ Strength/Mana/All Resistances

Belt: ~> 20 FCR

Arach

Gloves: ~> 20 FCR

Magefists

Boots: ~> 20 FHR

15/15 Sandstorm Treks, eth or non eth, your choice.

Grim Spurs

Switch:

CTA/Spirit

Inventory

This is where is gets a bit more to your likings.

You can either go:

5x Lifer Fire Skillers
4x FHR Fire Skillers
1x 5 FHR/All Resistances Sc
9x 20 Life/11 Singel Resistance Sc's
20/xx Sorc Torch
20/xx/xx Anni

This inventory setup hits the 142% FHR BP EXACTLY. ~> 53 FHR

or:

10x 5 FHR/Single Resistance or All Resistances Sc's
1x FHR Fire Skiller
9x Lifer Fire Skillers
20/xx Sorc Torch
20/xx/xx Anni

This inventory setup overkills the 142% FHR BP by 4% FHR. ~> 147% FHR

The dueling strategies:

Dueling strategies cannot be written due to the fact that I cannot tell you how to use your Sorceress, all I can say is that they take practice to learn how to aim your FB's.

In the end your sorceress should end up with:

2.5k+ Life (This can be up to 3k+ if you get the best possible lifers etc)
700ish Mana
142% FHR
200% FCR
20k Fire Bolt
21k Fire Blast

If you put a point into ES (which I don't recommend because it messes with the build and you won't get enough mana), you will end up with about 60%+ ES without a prebuff staff.

Thank you for viewing my guide, any suggestions/comments are useful. This is my first attempt at a guide anyways. smile.gif

Thanks,

~Punk

Cool, I like it, although I think I do have a few questions:

1) How does this FHR breakpoint come in handy? In what situations do you need it the most? I have always had troubles figuring out where FHR comes in handy with my characters, and where it is of the greatest importance.

2) I was thinking of switching this around to have a max block sorceress (so I don't hit the FHR animation as often), higher life (so I don't hit the FHR animation as often once again), about 40% dr (so I don't hit the FHR animation for a third time), and then a step down on the FHR (by one breakpoint), and keeping 200fcr. I would have to use wiz spikes to do this effectively ofcourse; do you think it would work?

3) Is there any point in using a firebolt over a fireball?

The final thing I'd like to add is... if you wanted to add in ES, wouldn't you rather want to have the lowest % ES possible so it doesn't deplete a huge amount of your mana, rather than a high one, so it just acts as something to divert the mana?

1. when you are fighting chargers and you get caught in a charge its very hard to escape and with more fhr you can escape better. Same goes for getting mindblasted by trappers

2. max block will not increase your life. Block doesnt work too well in pvp.

3. fireball has a high mana cost and fire bolt has nothing mana cost.. i got 900 mana and i can shoot fire bolts until armageddon.

block vorks fine in pvp but 200 is so fast that only lags can help bvc's +if u low on mana and even with 1 pnt in warmith just shoot bolts like 10 times and mana is full again^ spam fballs again and so on and on ... no range difference between them so gg ^

Yes, you can do this, but it's still overkill. The 15/9 is handy to hit that pesky 156 strength for Spirit wink.gif

Thanks for the comments/suggestions, keep 'em coming.

True the 15/9 str is nice for the magi, HOWEVER, a 15 res / 20 life jewel will give you more overall life.
