How do I play?
Go to Hourly Lottery link on the top right (near Help).
You may choose your own numbers or have numbers randomly selected.
Once you have your numbers, press the "Purchase Lottery Ticket" button.

What is the purpose of the Hourly Lottery?
The Hourly Lottery is designed to be a fun way to win forum gold, and help remove excess forum gold from the system.

How much is a ticket?
Each ticket costs 5 FG and you may purchase as many as you wish for each drawing.

How much does the pot increase for every ticket purchased?
The pot increases 3 FG for every ticket purchased. The other 2 FG goes back to the site.

I matched all three numbers!!! But I didn't win the jackpot!?
You must match all three numbers in the order they are drawn to win the entire jackpot. Lesser matches equal lesser winning amounts. See the table two questions down.

If someone wins, what is the new pot value?
When a user wins the pot, the pot is reset to 1,000 FG.

What are the chances of winning?
Odds of winning Jackpot: 1:42840
Odds of matching all 3 numbers, out of order: 1:7140
Odds of matching the first 2 numbers in order: 1:1260
Odds of matching any 2 numbers drawn: 1:210

Those odds are not right, I did the math and there is a 1:x chance to win!
These odds are correct. Really.

Do I get a prize for matching two numbers?
Yes, the prizes are as follows:
Match all 3 numbers of next drawing in the same exact order drawn to win Jackpot.
Match all 3 numbers, out of order, and win 16.66% of the pot.
Match the first 2 numbers in order, and win 2.94% of the pot.
Match any 2 numbers drawn, and win 0.49% of the pot.

Can someone choose the same numbers as me?
Yes, more than one person can have exactly the same numbers.

What happens if two or more users win?
If two or more users win the main prize, it is split equally between them. If two or more winners match all three numbers not in order, the first two who bought tickets would would each get 16.66% of the pot. If two or more match the first two numbers ordered, the first twn who purchased tickets each get 2.94% of the pot. Finally, if multiple people match two numbers not ordered, the first fifty who bought tickets win 0.49% of the pot each.

What's this "Buy this ticket for the next X raffle(s)?"
This allows you to automatically purchase the same numbers that you have up there now for the next X raffle(s), it automatically purchases the same number each raffle afterwards.
For instance, let's say your lucky numbers are 1,2,3 - so you pick these three numbers, and you want to purchase them for the next 24 raffles, you would put 24 in the text box, and it would automatically pre-purchase those numbers for the next 24 raffles!

How do I know who has won money playing the raffle in the past?
This list shows the last 100 winners, the type of match they had, the amount they won, and the numbers they used.
